Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below:

  • Responsible for supporting efficient operation and maintenance of existing blending facilities. Work closely with customer’s personnel to ensure maximum butane blending potential at each location. 
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with general contractors for periodic support with repair and maintenance of the systems and facilities. 
  • Support the mechanical operations of blending systems; quick and thorough resolution of blending system malfunctions; communication with contractors to insure all parties understand and comply with desired system design, installation, and timelines. 
  • Routine scheduled maintenance of all blending systems within assigned geographical area. 
  • Position is subject to a modified shift schedule and periodic on call duties. 

 



Requirements: 
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Strong Instrument and/or Electrical background.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance. 
  • Related experience in the refined products industry, refined products terminal operations including technical troubleshooting & maintenance experience working with pumps, valves & pipeline manifold systems operations. 
  • Hands on experience with mechanical systems and general knowledge and experience of field instrumentation and low voltage electrical systems including troubleshooting Instrument and Electrical systems. 
  • Must be self-directed and safety driven, with experience in safely working with liquid hydrocarbons. 
  • Strong analytical skills, strong communications skills (verbal and written), and strong relationship building skills. 
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC card within 30 days of employment
 Required Education:
  • High school diploma or GED
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
  • Level C requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
  • Level B requires a minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
  • Level A requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Driving, walking, and standing frequently
  • Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting
  • Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Overnight travel will be required
