About this role

SEC Energy is a single-source provider of natural gas compression equipment, parts and services to all segments of the oil & gas industry. From 50 to 8,000 horsepower, gas, electric or dual drive, SEC is capable of designing and fabricating equipment to meet each customer’s specific operating requirements. SEC capabilities expand beyond tradition manufacturing to further include turnkey engineering services, truck-based service technicians, manufacturer parts, and power generation equipment.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overall safety, quality, delivery and cost within assigned work areas.
  • Leads CRT crew of up to 10-12 subordinates to coordinate/assemble/prepare the equipment for shipping and field re-assembly.
  • Create Field assembly drawing packet, pictures, and packing list for all ship loose parts and package components
  • Manage teams' day to day activities and ensure productivity aligns with production/shipping schedules.
  • Responsible for evaluating each subordinate’s safety performance, productivity, attendance, overall skill level and training needs. Provides manager and subordinate with feedback based on evaluations.
  • Responsible for minimizing potential safety hazards through daily observations and conducting random tool inspections. Corrects any unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Responsible for reporting all safety incidents to manager and ensures injuries receive proper medical attention immediately. 
  • Responsible for keeping Inspection Test Plan (ITP) updated with correct signatures for each quality hold point, as tasks are performed.
  • Responsible for providing detailed work assignments to each subordinate based on material flow and project schedule.
  • Responsible for providing project schedule updates and potential schedule impacts to manager.
  • Responsible for prioritizing tasks to minimize overtime.
  • Responsible for verifying and approving daily time card and labor reporting by project, for each subordinate.
  • Responsible for minimizing production disruptions, equipment failure and downtime.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in and around assigned work areas.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with all departments and workers.
  • Maintains adherence to company policies.
  • Perform other functions/duties as required.


Required education or minimum level:
  •   High school education (GED)
Experience:
  • 4+ years experience in compression related assembly or field environment.
Skills:

    ·         Ability to read and understand General Arrangement and Process flow drawings.

    ·         Ability to communicate effectively.

    ·         Ability to handle problems and facilitate successful outcomes.

    ·         Ability to lead, oversee, and mentor department.

    Mental Power: relies on instructions in terms of what and how work is to be done, as well as why it is done, within established policies and procedures.
