About this role

Your area of responsibility

We are transitioning from traditional IT support to a Digital Employee Experience (DEX) model. In this role, you aren’t just "fixing things" - you are the face of technology for our Zürich offices. You will ensure our team stays productive by managing automated workflows, championing AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, and maintaining a high-performance hardware ecosystem.

  • Serve as the primary onsite expert for the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, with a focus on collaborative platforms (Teams/SharePoint) and AI productivity tools (Copilot).
  • Act as a "Productivity Coach", guiding colleagues on how to leverage new M365 features and AI prompts to automate their daily tasks.
  • Resolve high-touch incidents that bypass our automated self-service layers, ensuring a "white-glove" experience for complex issues.

Automated Device & Lifecycle Management
  • Manage the full hardware lifecycle (Laptops, Mobile, AV) using Microsoft Intune and Autopilot for zero-touch deployment.
  • Monitor device health and security compliance through real-time dashboards; proactively replace aging hardware before it fails.
  • Coordinate with vendors for high-tier repairs, ensuring minimal downtime through a "hot-swap" inventory strategy.

Identity & Security Governance
  • Oversee Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) workflows for seamless onboarding/offboarding.
  • Maintain "Least Privilege" access standards while ensuring users have the digital tools they need from Day 1.
  • Partner with the IT Business Partner to audit and refine our security posture and M365 governance.

Documentation & Knowledge Engineering
  • Maintain a dynamic, AI-searchable Knowledge Base for both internal IT and end-user self-service.
  • Document "standard operating procedures" (SOPs) for local Zürich infrastructure (Networking, AV, Meeting Rooms).

Your skills and experience

  • Education: Completed Swiss vocational training Informatiker/in EFZ (Systemtechnik/Plattformentwicklung) or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2+ years in an ICT Support or Workplace Engineering role within a professional services environment
  • Expertise: Windows 11, Microsoft 365 Admin Center, and Teams.
  • Proficiency: Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) and Entra ID
  • Interest in or experience with Microsoft Copilot and AI-assisted troubleshooting.
  • High emotional intelligence, a "service-first" mindset, and the ability to explain complex tech in simple terms.
  • English, Professional Working Proficiency is required. German/Swiss German is an advantage for local vendor coordination.

What we offer

This is a high-impact role for a tech-savvy professional who wants to move beyond basic troubleshooting into Modern Endpoint Management and User Enablement.
