Remote | Full-Time | Leadership Role
We’re looking for a Director of Recruiting to design, lead, and continuously optimize a high-impact, data-driven recruiting engine—one that attracts top veterinary talent and positions Encore as an employer of choice nationwide. This position will report to the Vice President of Growth.

What You’ll Do
- Lead Encore’s enterprise-wide recruiting and talent attraction strategy
- Build high-quality, scalable pipelines with a strong focus on veterinarian recruiting
- Own employer branding and recruitment marketing in partnership with Marketing
- Design and optimize sourcing strategies, CRM workflows, and engagement campaigns
- Use data and analytics to improve funnel performance, ROI, and time-to-fill
- Oversee recruiting events, student programs, and CVT recruiting initiatives
- Manage and develop recruiting team members and vendor relationships
- Work closely with Human Resources on compliance, offers, onboarding, resources and more
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, including leadership
- Proven success in building candidate engagement campaigns and measurable pipelines
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, writing, and communication skills
- Experience in multi-site organizations; veterinary experience strongly preferred
- ATS/CRM expertise (GEM and iCIMS preferred)
- Strategic, collaborative, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment & Travel
- Remote position with a professional home office setup
- Up to 25% travel for events, practice visits, with 2 required onsite team meetings per year
- Able to lift 25 pounds independently to assist with event setup, if needed
- Flexible schedule to support multiple U.S. time zones and occasional evenings/weekends
Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
