Job Summary:
The Senior Java Developer (18166) will design, develop, and maintain advanced software systems, ensuring adherence to high standards of code quality, testing, and automation. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable enterprise solutions, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipeline management and cloud infrastructure deployment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Design and implement scalable, high-performance applications and system architectures.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business goals.
Support DevOps practices, including CI/CD automation, cloud deployment, and monitoring.
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best development practices.
Participate in testing processes, including unit, integration, regression, and load testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in production environments.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
Proven ability in system design, software architecture, and enterprise application development.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Role-specific Requirements:
Domain experience in Retail, Supply Chain, and Supply Chain Outbound Transportation.
Hands-on experience in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Terraform) and containerization (Kubernetes, Lambda).
