Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop or build EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) maps (inbound or outbound) based on required document, structures, and specifications from clients.
- Understand mapping rules and incorporate them with the client’s requirement.
- Communicate status of Map development/ changes to supervisor and other interface partirs;
- Coordinate technical queries to EDI Specs Writers/ Analyst.
- Develop test data, perform unit testing and Troubleshoot of translation logs responsibilities here.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field with +3 years of experience
- Proven experience in EDI Development
- EDI Industry Standards and other data formats - ANSI X12, EDIFACT ,ROSETTANET,TRADACOMS,XML, Idocs , Proprietary formats ( Fixed Length, Delimited
- Good Knowledge in Communication Protocols, this would be HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP, FTPS, AS2, plain FTP

What you'll do
- The EDI Developer will develop EDI maps based on client specifications and communicate the status of map development to supervisors and other parties. They will also coordinate technical queries and perform unit testing and troubleshooting.
