What You Will Do:

  • Contribute to the development of construction scope, cost estimates, spend profiles, and schedules. Identify potential cost, scope, and schedule overruns and implement appropriate mitigation plans.

  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external partners. External such as industry representatives, construction contractors and service providers. Internal such as project controls, operations and supply chain.

  • Ensure timely updates to construction performance, spend profiles, forecasts, and schedules, and communicate results to management.

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to guarantee timely contract awards and fulfillment.

  • Facilitate pre-construction meetings, progress updates, deliverable reviews, and lessons-learned sessions.

  • Ensure regulatory approvals and material testing requirements are met.

  • Direct all field construction teams to complete projects within approved budgets and deadlines. This includes leading, onboarding, aligning, and mentoring team members to Enbridge standards.

Who You Are:

  • An applicable university degree, college diploma, or related construction or operational training and experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in the pipeline and/or facilities industry.

  • Strong knowledge of pipeline and facilities construction principles, industry standards, and governmental regulations.

  • Must have exposure to engineering, construction and field operations experience. This includes excavation, welding, hoisting and equipment knowledge.

  • Effective communication skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite, experience with Oracle or SAP is an asset.

  • Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.

  • Valid passport and the ability to travel to the US.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with some fieldwork required.

  • Travel to Enbridge offices, operating facilities, construction sites, and supplier facilities (up to 50%).  Available outside normal work hours to address technical, cost, safety, and environmental issues during active projects.
