About the Opportunity
As a Scale Operator at EMR, you’ll play a key role our daily operations at our Bismarck, ND site. Serving as the first point of contact for customers bringing in scrap metal, you’ll be responsible for weighing and recording materials, issuing receipts and ensuring accurate transaction records.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist customers in person and by phone
- Weigh trucks and materials, issue tickets and process payments
- Verify materials and guide proper sorting
- Maintain accurate records and perform data entry
What We’re Looking For
- Strong focus on quality, accuracy and a willingness to learn
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, customer facing role
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
