Picker/Cleaner

Your Responsibilities:  

  • Remove materials such as trash, wood, paper, or plastics, from the conveyor belts and deposit them into appropriate chute.
  • Clean recycling yard by sweeping, raking, picking up materials and debris, or moving barrels and bins.
  • Deposit recoverable materials into chutes or place materials on conveyor belt.
  • Conduct general cleaning and sweeping operations as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

 

  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills
  • Ability to communicate well with coworkers.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to perform all physical, mental and environmental job functions
  • Ability to work in all elements such as rain, cold, and heat.

 

Education:

  • High School graduate or GED-Equivalent required.
