About the Opportunity

As a Heavy Equipment Operator at EMR, you’ll play a key role our daily operations at our Becker, MN site. In this role, you’ll operate equipment to load, unload and transport scrap metal materials within the yard.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate material handler, front end loader and other heavy equipment safely to unload and move scrap material throughout yard
  • Perform daily maintenance and inspections
  • Identify and process different types of scrap metal and report load details
  • Keep the worksite clean, organized and safe
  • Complete daily paperwork, meet production goals and assist with other tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Maneuver in and around equipment to inspect, operate and maintain company property
