EMR USA is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to support the daily operations of our yard. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who can work independently while contributing to a team-focused environment. The General Laborer plays a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient worksite.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with general housekeeping to maintain a clean and orderly workplace

  • Clean and prepare work areas by removing debris and potential hazards

  • Support routine maintenance of equipment

  • Clean barges and other yard equipment

  • Follow all operating procedures and health & safety protocols

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools (e.g., snip cutters, brooms, shovels)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including working overhead, climbing ladders, kneeling, and standing for extended periods

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Previous forklift experience preferred
