We are seeking an experienced Mechanic for our state of the art metal recycling yard located on Florida Ave. in New Orleans, LA - Join a global leader in the Metal Recycling Industry!

This is a Full Time position opportunity.

We have heavy equipment such as material handlers, front end loaders, and excavators that are essential to our operations. We also have conveyor belts.

The Mechanic that we are looking for must have flexibility to work on heavy equipment as well as machinery, and maintain equipment through planned and preventative maintenance procedures as directed. This includes fuel and lubrication, inspecting and testing, diagnosing malfunctions, dismantling and reassembling, and installing parts.

The Mechanic will also be able to work on our facility conveyor belts, and other machinery.

We are seeking a very skilled Mechanic with at least 5 years of maintenance experience. Experience in repair of metal processing equipment and trucks is helpful. We would like to see a background in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical areas. 

Compensation is dependent on experience.
