About the opportunity:
The Production Worker is responsible for removing and sorting material from conveyor belts, maintaining a clean shredder facility, and supporting overall yard cleanliness. This role requires physical labor, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
What you will do in a day:
- Remove trash, wood, paper, and plastics from conveyor belts
- Sort and place materials into the correct chutes or onto conveyors
- Clean the yard by sweeping, raking, and picking up debris
- Move barrels and bins as needed
- Perform general cleaning tasks
- Assist with other duties as assigned
You may be a good fit if you:
- Ability to work independently
- Basic math skills
- Able to lift and handle up to 50 pounds
- Capable of performing physical tasks in various environments
