The Senior Business Systems Analyst will evaluate business processes and systems to identify and implement solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness. This role partners closely with stakeholders to gather complex requirements, analyze information, and produce clear documentation and system specifications. You will also help ensure technology solutions align with organizational goals by serving as a key connector between business users and IT teams.

What you will do:

  • Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to gather and document requirements for software development projects.
  • Translate business needs into clear, concise user stories aligned to project goals.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements.
  • Analyze existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Review story requirements with cross-functional partners and validate system functionality.
  • Support implementations by troubleshooting issues, completing impact analysis, and recommending solutions.
  • Develop and report business and performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Review system enhancements with project stakeholders.
  • Create flow diagrams and documentation outlining workflows and technical solutions, while continuously learning and adapting to modern technologies and Agile best practices.

What you will bring

  • BA or BS degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or equivalent technology industry background.
  • Experience collecting, documenting, and managing system requirements from stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify business needs, evaluate options, and drive practical solutions that support successful project delivery.
  • Clear, effective communicator who can translate technical information for all levels and align stakeholders on requirements and outcomes.
  • Strong documentation skills to produce comprehensive reports, manuals, workflows, and specifications that enable consistent execution.

  • Deep understanding of highly complex, multi-platform applications and systems.
  • Collaborate in an Agile delivery environment with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, support prioritization, and enable iterative delivery from intake through release.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes in project scope, requirements, or technological advancements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or technology field
  • Financial industry experience (preferred).
  • Production support and troubleshooting experience (preferred).
  • Experience working as a QA or Developer (preferred).

Base Salary Range

$87,400.00 - $123,400.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
