A Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. They play a crucial role in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment, and ongoing support.

Essential Functions:

  • Design, code, and test software features and components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements.
  • Lead coding efforts for specific modules or features.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and design discussions.
  • 2-- 6 years of hands-on technology experience with the ability to work in teams spread out in multiple locations. 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 - 6 years of hands-on experience on Java 17 or above, at least on some AWS services (Batch, ECS, cloud formation, API gateway, S3, Lambdas), Spring boot, microservices, React, Angular, SQL.
  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent applicable work experience
  • Enthusiasm to work and learn in a team environment.
  • Ability to work on a task independently with minimal supervision.
  • Team player with experience of working in teams spread in multiple locations.
  • Assist in coding, debugging, and testing software components and features.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Agile/ Scrum methodology
