As we scale, we're looking for a creative, resourceful, and driven Content Creator to help us share our story, strengthen our brand, and engage our growing network of patients and team members.<br><br> </div><div> <strong>Required Qualifications<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>Minimum 3 years of experience in a dental office (front office or clinical).</li> <li>Minimum 1 year prior experience as a Treatment Coordinator.</li> <li>Clinical experience in a dental office (Dental Assistant, Hygienist, etc) highly preferred.</li> <li>Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Proficient in dental practice software (Open Dental).</li> <li>Bilingual skills (Spanish, Tagalog, etc.) are a plus.</li> <li>Knowledge of third-party financing (Cherry, etc.).</li> <li>Proficiency in common administrative tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, project management software).</li> </ul><div> <strong>Job Responsibilities<br></strong><br> </div><div> <strong>Patient Communication & Case Presentation<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>Review proposed treatment plans with patients in a clear and compassionate manner.</li> <li>Answer patient questions regarding procedures, recovery, costs, and timing.</li> <li>Emphasize the benefits of proposed treatment and the risks of non-treatment.</li> <li>Build strong rapport and trust with patients to encourage treatment acceptance.</li> </ul><div> <strong>Financial Coordination<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>Provide accurate treatment estimates based on insurance coverage and office fees.</li> <li>Present and explain payment options including third-party financing, office plans, or pre-payment discounts.</li> <li>Collect deposits or co-payments as required prior to scheduling treatment.</li> <li>Ensure all financial agreements are documented and signed.</li> </ul><div> <strong>Scheduling & Coordination<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>Schedule treatment appointments in coordination with clinical and administrative staff.</li> <li>Track outstanding treatment plans and follow up with patients who have not yet scheduled.</li> <li>Ensure a smooth hand-off between the clinical team and front office.</li> </ul><div> <strong>Insurance & Authorization Support<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>Confirm benefits, limitations, and pre-authorizations.</li> <li>Understand insurance terminology and communicate relevant details to patients.</li> <li>Help resolve insurance-related patient questions regarding eligibility, estimates, and payments.</li> </ul><div> <strong>Team Collaboration<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>Collaborate daily with dentists, hygienists, assistants, and front office staff.</li> <li>Attend team meetings and communicate relevant patient or financial concerns.</li> <li>Support front desk functions as needed (check-in/check-out, phones, etc.)</li> </ul><div> <strong>Treatment Plan Compliance & Documentation<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>A written treatment plan must be completed and signed by the patient.</li> <li>All required consent forms (general, surgical, ortho, etc.) must be signed before treatment begins.</li> <li>The Treatment Coordinator must be the one who presented the case and collected the payment.</li> <li>All diagnosed treatment plans must be entered accurately into the patient’s chart without modification unless approved in writing or directly by the provider.</li> <li>Only diagnosed treatment may be presented—Treatment Coordinators may not add, remove, or alter treatment plans independently.</li> <li>The patient’s payment and financing details must be properly entered into the patient’s ledger.<br><br> </li> </ul><div>*The absence of specific duties in this description does not exclude them from the role if they are similar, related, or logically associated with the position.
