Join the dynamic and growing Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology, practicing in one of the largest and most comprehensive health system in Georgia!

The Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology is seeking a Geriatrician to support our long-term care resident center.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage admissions, acute follow-ups, regulatory visits, and discharges.
  • Supervise APPs (NP and/or PA)
  • Precept trainees:  geriatric fellows, palliative care fellows, family medicine or internal medicine residents
  • May participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and regulatory reviews
  • Engage in scholarly activities such as quality improvement or research projects related to quality metrics
  • Participate in Geriatric call pool (LTC, Geriatric Clinic and Domiciliary care)

Qualified applicants are board-certified/board-eligible in Geriatric Medicine and board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and possess outstanding clinical, technical, and interpersonal skills and training from top-rated institutions.
