About this role

<h4 data-start="293" data-end="317"><strong data-start="297" data-end="315">Specific Role:</strong></h4> <p data-start="318" data-end="815">We’re looking for a strong, people-focused Field Service Supervisor to lead EMIT’s field installation operations across customer sites. In this role, you’ll oversee field technicians and be a hands on lead to ensure our control panels and related hardware are installed safely, efficiently, and to EMIT’s quality standards. You’ll balance customer satisfaction, operational execution, and project financial performance—while shaping the culture and processes of a growing the Field Service team.</p> <h4 data-start="817" data-end="848"><strong data-start="821" data-end="846">Key Accountabilities:</strong></h4> <ul> <li data-start="850" data-end="991">Lead and develop the Field Service team through coaching, performance expectations, and a culture of professionalism and accountability</li> <li data-start="993" data-end="1111">Oversee daily and weekly field schedules, ensuring the right staffing and skill sets are aligned to each project</li> <li data-start="1218" data-end="1347">Plan and coordinate all field installation activities, ensuring jobs are completed on time, within scope, and within budget</li> <li data-start="1349" data-end="1469">Conduct pre-job readiness checks and post-job debriefs to reinforce quality and identify improvement opportunities</li> <li data-start="1471" data-end="1603">Collaborate with Field Service Manager and Supply Chain to ensure materials, drawings, and jobsite conditions are fully prepared</li> <li data-start="1605" data-end="1711">Own tool and equipment inventory, calibration, and maintenance processes to support field efficiency</li> <li data-start="1713" data-end="1849">Act as the primary customer contact during field installation work—communicating schedules, progress updates, and issue resolution</li> <li data-start="1851" data-end="1950">Monitor labor utilization, equipment usage, expenses, and job costs to maintain profitability</li> <li data-start="2026" data-end="2123">Provide recurring reports to leadership on job progress, quality, and financial performance</li> <li data-start="2125" data-end="2225">Ensure strict compliance with EMIT safety policies, OSHA requirements, and customer site rules</li> <li data-start="2227" data-end="2340">Conduct jobsite inspections and ensure safety briefings and incident documentation are completed accurately</li> </ul> <h4 data-start="2347" data-end="2372"><strong data-start="2351" data-end="2370">Qualifications:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience leading field service, installation, or construction crews in an industrial or manufacturing environment</li> <li>Proven success supervising distributed field teams with multiple simultaneous projects</li> <li>Experience in scheduling, logistics, and resource planning</li> <li>Excellent customer communication and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Experience following budgetary guidelines, job costs, and timelines</li> <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office and scheduling/project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, ERP modules)</li> <li>Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 80% primarily within your designated region</li> <li data-start="2974" data-end="3208">Technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical systems, controls, or industrial automation</li> <li data-start="2974" data-end="3208">Experience installing or managing installation of control systems, electrical panels, or industrial equipment</li> </ul> <h4 data-start="3215" data-end="3245"><strong data-start="3219" data-end="3243">Performance Metrics:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>On-time job completion rate</li> <li>Field labor utilization and cost performance</li> <li>Quality inspection scores and rework rate</li> <li>Customer satisfaction and feedback trends</li> <li>Safety compliance and incident rates</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p data-start="1779" data-end="1832">&nbsp;</p> <h5 style="text-align: center;">We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome candidates from all backgrounds.</h5><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Pay Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$75,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$85,000 USD</span></div></div></div>
