We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to work in the company's materials testing lab. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of lab tests, ensuring that all testing is completed accurately and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. As a key member of our team, the Quality Control Technician will work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the efficient and effective use of company resources.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of lab tests on construction materials, including concrete, asphalt, and soil
• Analyze and interpret test results, and ensure that all testing is completed accurately and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Maintain lab equipment and supplies, and ensure that all lab-related activities are carried out in accordance with best practices and standards
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that lab testing aligns with project requirements and timelines
• Communicate lab-related information to stakeholders
• Identify and report any quality control issues or concerns
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in chemistry, geology, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a quality control role, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong technical skills, with a deep understanding of lab testing processes and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
