About this role
We are seeking a motivated Ground Laborer to join our team at the asphalt plant in Gravette, AR. This position plays a key role in supporting plant operations by performing general labor tasks, assisting with equipment operation, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with general labor duties around asphalt plant, including loading and unloading materials, operating hand and power tools, and cleanup
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to ensure project success
- Operate small equipment such as skid steers and other light machinery as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working at an asphalt plant is a plus, but not required
- Experience in construction or related industry
- Ability to operate small equipment (e.g. skid steer) safely and efficiently
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
