About this role
We are seeking a Grade Checker/Laborer to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, and operating hand and power tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to ensure project success
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in construction practices
- Will be primarily working on our solar projects
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in construction or related industry preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
- TS7 Rover experience is a plus
- MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL EXTENSIVELY
- MUST HAVE SOME EXPERIENCE WITH TRIMBLE GPS
