We are seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher I to work on our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for finishing concrete surfaces using hand and power tools. As a key member of our team, the Concrete Finisher I will work closely with other crew members and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed to the highest level of quality.

Responsibilities

• Finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
• Pour and spread concrete to the required thickness and consistency
• Smooth and level concrete surfaces using trowels and other tools
• Create concrete forms and frameworks as needed
• Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear as required
• Communicate regularly with other crew members and subcontractors to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget
• Develop and maintain relationships with crew members and subcontractors to ensure that they are aware of project schedules and deadlines
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction projects
• Provide training and supervision to Concrete Finisher I and II personnel
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in concrete finishing preferred
• 3+ years of experience in concrete finishing, with experience in a construction setting preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze project data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus
