About this role
We are seeking a hardworking and safety-conscious Bridge Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting in the construction, repair, and maintenance of bridges and related structures. The ideal candidate will thrive in outdoor environments, work well in a team, and be committed to delivering high-quality results on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bridge construction tasks, including setting forms, tying rebar, pouring concrete, assisting with structural steel installation, and operating hand and power tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to ensure project success
- Work in varying weather conditions and at heights when required.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in construction practices
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in construction or related industry preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
