We’re looking for a Master Data Specialist to play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our SAP Master Data across Australia and New Zealand.

In this position, you will:

• Create, extend, update, and maintain SAP Master Data for customers, vendors, and materials in line with business policies and procedures.
• Manage all new material number creation and extensions, including manufactured items and third‑party sourced products.
• Ensure inventory Master Data integrity and consistency across production facilities and distribution centres.
• Maintain supplier and inventory Master Data accuracy to enable correct inventory holding across all facilities.
• Develop and maintain Master Data documentation and Standard Operating Procedures related to Master Data lifecycle processes.
• Maintain pricing conditions within the ERP system, including ZILL, ZIDC, ZIPC, and ZCWP for ANZ.
• Support ANZ Finance teams during annual cost roll and cost updates, including cost estimates and correction of errors.
• Upload and maintain standard costs within the Material Master.
• Manage plant and sales blocks for materials, including application, removal, and phase‑out of superseded items.
• Work closely with sales and engineering teams on product obsolescence, BOM updates, and Master Data accuracy.
• Provide SAP data extracts and reporting to support pricing, sales management, and business analysis.
• Act as a gatekeeper for limited approved items and ensure Master Data settings align with material usage.
• Support Health, Safety, and Environmental expectations and demonstrate leadership in safe work practices.

For this position, you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in data analysis, IT, supply chain management, or a related discipline (preferred but not essential), or 3–5 years relevant experience.

• Prior experience in SAP inventory management and Master Data management.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory or data management software.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.

• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple deadlines.

• A proactive, agile mindset with the ability to adapt to change.

• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical behaviour.

• Strong organisational, computer, and data analysis skills.
