About this role

As a Lead System Specialist, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day CRM production support operations, ensuring system stability, driving continuous improvement, and serving as a technical and operational leader within the team. You will act as a key liaison between DevOps, QA, stakeholders, and business users, while owning production readiness, deployments, and maintenance activities within an Oracle-based CRM ecosystem.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Lead and manage daily incidents and service requests received through internal support platforms, ensuring timely resolution, proper prioritization, and clear communication with impacted users, while setting operational direction for the team.

  • Drive trend analysis and root cause investigations, collaborating with engineering and delivery teams to design and implement permanent, scalable solutions for recurring system issues.

  • Own and govern all production cutover activities, including release readiness, system configuration, and automation processes, while mentoring and developing newer team members.

  • Act as the subject matter expert for Oracle maintenance activities, including one-time, weekly, quarterly, and yearly maintenance processes.

  • Authorize, prepare, and oversee user communications related to system downtime, planned maintenance, and production incidents.

  • Oversee proactive monitoring of system health, performance, and stability, identifying risks early and exercising independent judgement to escalate critical or complex concerns.

  • Respond to stakeholder questions and concerns related to existing issues, system behavior, and upcoming features, ensuring appropriate follow-up and handover.

  • Review and approve application deployments into production environments, ensuring compliance with quality, security, and operational standards.

  • Coordinate and distribute release notes detailing delivered features, resolved defects, and improvements included in each iteration.

  • Act as the lead system authority in cross-functional discussions, clearly translating complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders and representing the team on system design, stability, and production readiness matters.

Who You Are:

You quickly take precise actions in fast-changing situations while remaining attentive to the details. You remain energized and effective when faced with ambiguity and uncertainty. You pursue everything with energy, drive, and the need to finish.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the information technology domain.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience or at least 3 years as a senior member of the same team.

  • At least 5 years of experience contributing as a core member of an Agile or scaled Agile delivery team.

  • Proven experience working with enterprise applications and production support environments.

  • Advanced written and verbal English communication skills in a technical and business context.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess system behavior and operational risks.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Experience with Oracle-based enterprise applications and maintenance processes.

  • Exposure to application monitoring, deployment governance, and release management.

  • Ability to review system designs and ensure alignment with vendor and architectural best practices.
