Chief of Staff (GTM-focused)

What we're looking for:We are seeking an exceptional strategic operator with experience as a former founder or with significant experience in a high-growth, VC-backed environment. You must have deep political fluency, with a proven track record of working within government, running campaigns, or in legislative offices, and understand how to navigate political budgeting and influence line items. You are an operationally obsessive systems-builder, proficient with GTM tooling like Clay and Apollo, an expert in CRM architecture, and have a natural fluency with AI/LLMs to automate and scale processes.What you'll do:Own our political intelligence strategy to drive sales by mapping political landscapes, tracking budgets, and tailoring messaging for key government stakeholders.Build and manage the entire GTM operations infrastructure using tools like Clay, Apollo, and our CRM (Attio) to systematically reach and engage with top government targets.Design and execute high-impact events that connect Emerge graduates with elected officials, turning these engagements into a lead generation and contract renewal engine.Manage key relationships with correctional facilities, employer partners, and government agencies, ensuring accountability and smooth operational execution.Oversee core financial operations, including funder reporting, invoicing, and budget tracking to ensure the company's financial health.Act as the co-founders' operational backbone, taking ownership of strategic projects and solving complex problems across sales, partnerships, and operations.
