Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Fix, repair and/or replace facility systems using knowledge and skills in the field of maintenance at the Journeyman's level.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check at the beginning of shift for daily assignments
- As directed and/or assigned:
- Perform other duties as assignedReplace faucets, light bulbs, ballasts and switches
- Maintain and perform preventative maintenance (PM) schedules
- Mix cement or plaster, lay block and repair sidewalks and or driveways
- Unclog toilets and drains
- Patch roofs, clean gutters and down spouts
- Make repairs to floors, ceilings, locks, walls and windows
- Paint interior/exterior surfaces
- Snow removal
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Maintenance Supervisor
CONTACTS: Elwyn clients and staff
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
- Three (3) years' experience as a technician at the journeyman level in any maintenance trades
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must possess excellent customer interaction and written and verbal communication skills
- Must have current, valid driver's license in state of residence, three (3) years driving experience in the United States, and acceptable driving record

What you'll do
- The Maintenance Technician is responsible for fixing, repairing, and replacing facility systems at the journeyman level. Duties include performing preventative maintenance, unclogging drains, and making various repairs to the facility.
