The Position
This position works with a team, using MRI to serve our high-risk patients. The position is evenings/weekends with possible future shift opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review MRI procedure with the patient-
- IV skills required
- Perform breast MRI and be able to position the patient for the exam
- Work closely with other technologists, front office high risk staff and a PA/NP to ensure patient safety
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with regulations
Skills and Qualifications
- Current state licensing
- CPR certification is mandatory
- Breast MRI experience optimal, but not required (willing to train)
- Injection certification preferred (willing to train)
- Self-motivated/independent and a team player
- Basic computer knowledge is necessary; familiarity with EHR and PACS systems beneficial. Must be trained to learn and use Avairis system at EWBC
- Ability to maintain great customer service skills in a high-volume facility
Performance Standards
MRI Technologists are expected to perform well in a team environment and to make the needs of our patients their number one priority. The ability to multi task and attention to detail is essential in this role. This position report directly to the High Risk Manager.
Hourly –$55.00+

As an EWBC patient, you’ll work with a team of highly skilled breast imaging professionals, all who provide comprehensive and compassionate care to new and returning patients while providing results while you wait at any of our seven offices (Brighton, Batavia, Carthage, Geneseo, Greece, Victor and Webster).
Services at all offices include the latest 3D mammography with results while you wait and screening breast ultrasound for women with dense breasts. Cancer risk assessment is a part of every appointment. Bone density is offered at most offices. The main office in Brighton offers Breast MRI, Breast Biopsy and Genetic Counseling.
