Summary
A private household in Toronto is seeking a reliable and experienced Housekeeper / Kitchen Assistant to support the daily upkeep of the residence and assist the private chef with light culinary and dining-room duties. This is a long-term position within a respectful and well-organized private home.

Position Overview
The Housekeeper / Kitchen Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the residence while also providing support to the chef with food preparation and table service. This role requires discretion, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in private service.

Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping Duties

• Daily and deep cleaning of the residence
  
• Cleaning of kitchens and washrooms daily
  
• Household organization and upkeep.
  
• Upkeep of exterior spaces during summer months
  
• Managing household supplies and inventories
  
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
  

Kitchen & Dining Support

• Assisting the private chef with basic food preparation (washing, chopping, mise en place).
  
• Setting and clearing the table according to the household’s standards.
  
• Assisting with table service during meals when required.
  
• Cleaning and organizing the kitchen after service.
  
• Supporting special meals or small gatherings as needed.
  

Other Duties

• Various errands as needed (vehicle provided).
  

Schedule

• Tuesday to Saturday.
  
• Two possible shifts, to be confirmed with the household:
  
• 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  
• 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  

Requirements

• Previous experience as a housekeeper in a private residence or high-end hospitality setting.
  
• Comfortable assisting in a kitchen environment (no formal culinary training required).
  
• Strong attention to detail and high service standards.
  
• Trustworthy, discreet, and professional demeanor.
  
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with the chef and other staff members.
  
• Physically able to perform housekeeping duties.
  
• Valid driver's licence.
