This role works in a dual-provider hygiene model alongside a dedicated hygiene assistant to increase access to care, improve efficiency, and elevate the patient experience.</strong></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deliver comprehensive periodontal care in accordance with all state dental board requirements</li> <li>Partner with a dedicated hygiene assistant to delegate non-clinical and preparatory tasks, maximizing chairside efficiency and patient access</li> <li>Maintain an efficient schedule that supports increased patient volume without compromising quality of care</li> <li>Educate patients on periodontal health, disease prevention, and the connection between oral health and overall systemic health</li> <li>Collaborate with the Dentist and care team on periodontal charting, treatment planning, and follow-up to support optimal patient outcomes</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board with no adverse actions</li> <li>Experience working in a fast-paced or assisted/expanded hygiene model preferred, but not required</li> <li>Strong communication skills with both patients and team members</li> <li>Ability to lead chairside care while working collaboratively with a hygiene assistant</li> <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office products and dental software; experience with Dentrix preferred</li> <li>Commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality, patient-centered hygiene care</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <p>As a valued team member, you’ll enjoy a rewarding career with growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
