Financial Analyst – Join the CFO Advisory Team & Drive Impactful Financial Insights

Position Available: Financial Analyst
Location: Remote; Sri Lanka
Hours: Full-time - 5:30am - 1:30pm, IST Colombo time

Are you a Financial Analyst / Manager who loves turning numbers into actionable insights?

We’re looking for a finance professional to analyse and interpret financial data, build robust models, explore trends, and uncover opportunities that drive business performance. You’ll deliver clear, practical insights to support decision-making, working closely with clients and the CFO advisory team to help businesses grow.

Your main responsibilities & experience:

• Financial Modelling & Analysis
  Build and maintain robust financial models using advanced Excel skills, including three-way cashflow and discounted cashflow (DCF) models, to support forecasting and strategic decision-making.
• Financial Reporting & Presentation
  Prepare clear and insightful financial reports and month-end analyses, create PowerPoint presentations to communicate key insights to stakeholders, and develop analysis and reporting packs to support management and Board-level reporting.
• Core Financial Understanding
  Apply expertise in ROI, ROE, net working capital, leverage, liquidity, cashflow, and margins to assess performance and guide business decisions.
• CFO Advisory Support
  Work across multiple businesses, partnering with the CFO advisory team to provide practical, value-driven financial insights and recommendations.

What your profile will look like:

• Must have – 3+ years’ experience as a Financial Analyst, Finance Manager, or similar role, with a proven client delivery track record
• Must have – Must have exceptional Excel skills, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, financial modelling, and the ability to build, analyse, and manipulate large data models to support forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
• Must have – Strong communication skills: fluent written and oral English, with the ability to present financial information effectively to stakeholders.
• Must have – Strong Internet Connection: stable fiber connectivity with a minimum bandwidth of 50 Mbps.
