Elekta is looking for a Manufacturing Administrator who will play an essential role in keeping our manufacturing operations running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll provide vital administrative and secretarial support to the Manufacturing department, ensuring day‑to‑day coordination, documentation and communication run seamlessly.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate training records, overseeing equipment maintenance and calibration administration, and supporting the team with the organisational structure needed to operate effectively. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help ensure that our manufacturing teams can focus on what they do best—delivering products that make a meaningful difference to patients and clinicians worldwide.

What you’ll do at Elekta:

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • To provide administration and secretarial function to the manufacturing department to enable the smooth running of the department.
  • To administer the maintenance, calibration of equipment and training records within manufacturing.
  • To ensure that all measuring and test equipment used in Production and Dispatch are calibrated and maintained in accordance within the appropriate standards.
  • Ensure Indysoft is updated with current PM forms.
  • To support and update documents on the Quality Management System.
  • Maintenance of training records and certification within the MES system.
  • Coordinate and administer non-product training events for Manufacturing team.
  • Assist in administering Production NCR’s.
  • Place purchase requests for tools and equipment.
  • To administer Manufacturing consumable and 2BIN items ensuring constant supply.
  • To order and administer protective clothing and uniforms for manufacturing personnel.
  • To produce and issue Machine Front sheets in accordance with Commercial order and latest labelling requirements.
  • Ensure Commercial Orders and front sheets in the DHR and on machines are latest issue.  Manage order changes/amendments on WIP.
  • Administer the induction process and conduct induction training for new starters within Manufacturing.
  • Reviewing and administering risk assessments and COSHH risk assessments and uploading into Mastercontrol.
  • Working with OH provider to organize annual Health Surveillance checks for Manufacturing.
  • Organising factory tours in accordance with customer and internal requirements.
  • Compile and perform analysis on manufacturing data for KPIs.
  • Ensure KPIs are updated and displayed accurately and on time.
  • Perform minute keeping role within manufacturing meetings as required.
  • Manage own workload and be able to work to deadlines.

What you bring:

  • PC literate with a good working knowledge on Mastercontrol, Coupa, Infor (Movex), MES, Elekta’s Business Management System and Microsoft Office applications (with emphasis on data analysis using Excel)
  • In‑depth understanding of equipment calibration, maintenance and safety
  • Ability to learn new administrative software as required such as databases, web portals etc.
