All about the role:

The European Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth and market share across Europe within the “Wellbeing” (floorcare/vacuum cleaning, air conditioners, air purification), Small Domestic Appliances and the Consumables & Accessories segment. The role ensures consistent strategic alignment with central category objectives, local commercial execution, and key customer partnerships.

As European Sales Manager it’s your responsibility to lead the implementation of sales strategies and growth initiatives across European markets, ensuring alignment with central (European) direction. You will support and guide our 6 Commercial Areas by providing category-focused sales tools, and performance insights to strengthen market execution. As Sales Manager Europe, you are the interface and go to person to key sales stakeholders in all Commercial Areas for your categories.

In the role you monitor and analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and category performance to identify growth and business development opportunities. Furthermore, you drive harmonization of category priorities in traditional channels and assortment structure across countries to maximize efficiency and reduce complexity. As European Sales Manager you will play a key role in executing the category distribution strategy and you participate strongly in the pricing governance for the categories “Wellbeing” & SDA.

A key factor to be successful in this role is to collaborate strongly with the commercial areas and other key central stakeholders such as marketing and product line.  You build relationships and you are visible in the organisation.

Furthermore, you will:

  • Lead performance reviews (Weekly Beat analyses) and monthly functional calls with CA KAMs or Sales Heads.
  • Develop compelling commercial strategy narratives to support Joint Business Plan discussions with key partners.
  • Own and lead overstock governance, including target setting, monitoring, and corrective action definition and follow-up.
  • Act as the key interface to all sales-supporting functions, identifying and driving requirements into relevant initiatives such as training, in-store trade execution, e-store execution, sales tools etc.
  • Ensure strong collaboration with marketing, trade operations, product line, and supply chain to secure full readiness for launches and activations.
  • Maintain strong governance on sales forecasting, performance tracking, and reporting.

Who you are:

  • Master’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Solid experience in Sales or Category Management within consumer goods, preferably in SDA or adjacent markets – with great results to show.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-country business environments.
  • Great business understanding, excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional and cross-country teams.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe (approx. 20%.
