Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Validate product specifications and conduct testing on:

    • Thermal safety

    • Energy consumption

    • Cooking performance

    • Noise level, EMC, and environmental impact (where applicable)

    • Component reliability and lifetime

    • Material performance (e.g. surface cleanability)

  • Support platform and technology teams in validation activities

  • Propose improvements to product design and testing methods

  • Maintain testing equipment in line with ISO9001 standards

  • Align test methodologies with global R&D teams and external labs

  • Participate in concept development, FMEA, and project teams

  • Support the introduction of new models into production

Who you are

  • A problem-solver with hands-on experience in testing and evaluation

  • Familiar with product development processes and authority approvals (e.g. EN, IEC, UL, CCC)

  • Skilled in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, including modifications and fault finding

  • Proficient in testing methodologies (DoE, statistical analysis, CFD, Weibull)

  • Comfortable working with electric/electronic systems in a lab environment

  • Strong in technical writing and fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • A team player who thrives in a global, matrix organization

  • Open to travel and working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in Engineering or related field

  • Experience in a testing laboratory or R&D environment

  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, MS Project)

  • Knowledge of IQ & EMS systems is a plus
