Part time, evenings and nights available. $2.00 shift differential for 3pm-11p. $1.00 shift differential for 11pm - 7am.

 

Are you a Certified HHA / PCA looking for a rewarding career opportunity with a consistent schedule? Elderwood is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant (RA)/Med Tech with a desire to care for our beloved residents. Resident Assistants assist with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing personal care support. This position is responsible for meeting the physical and emotional needs of residents under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse to help ensure the highest degree of quality resident care. 

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, Resident Assistants provide care to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents in Elderwood assisted living facilities.  Resident Assistants are responsible for:

  • Responding to resident needs.
  • Maintaining facility standards.
  • Providing quality care to residents and exhibiting a high level of service to our residents and visitors. 
  • Performing duties as assigned by management staff.

Qualifications

  • Eighteen (18) years of age required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to assist residents with all aspects of Daily Living Activities including bathing, toileting, and transferring.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds; Occasional 2 person lift up to 120 pounds

 

Elderwood expects all current and new employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. If hired, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination. Employees may request a medical exemption from vaccination.

 

  • This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
