Position Description:

The EEM International Supply Chain Director represents the knowledge and capability of supply chain principles and techniques that can be applied to all the products within EEM International Hub portfolio to ensure supply meets the needs of customers. The role dictates both a strategic approach and a tactical implementation function. 

This position is responsible for leading the team of EEM Int’l SC Planners providing tactical Supply Chain Planning support for EEM International and creating/maintaining production plans with CMs (Contract Manufacturers) as well as all performance management activities of direct reports.

This position is responsible and accountable for ensuring execution of supply chain processes in alignment with our Core Operational Requirements for Reliable Supply (CORRS), using our current systems and tools (e.g. S4, IBP/PPDS).  These processes include but are not limited to: IBP – Supply Review Process (R&OP/S&OP), PCAPs, Process Teams Supply metrics, planning overview, master data set up, inventory control and management, warehousing, and logistics.

The position is a key member of the EEM International Lead Team, contributing to the strategic direction of the Hub.

Functions, Duties, Tasks:

  • Lead the EEM Int’l SC Planners team including performance management, development planning, career planning and coaching of direct reports. Participate in appropriate HR planning processes (eg Talent Management) and support Voice of the Employee action implementation within the team. Establish effective team governance to support a highly effective and engaged team.

  • Hub Supply Review and CORRS Metrics: Owner of the R&OP process for the Hub, identifying potential issues proactively, and addressing these in advance of causing problems. Coordinating and managing the demand and supply balance, inventory management, and integrating these functions into the Hub financial plan. Managing CORRS metrics by tracking, analyzing, and reporting on these metrics to ensure optimal operational Hub performance.

  • Prioritize and resolve key decisions including, but not limited to, Inventory Health, SOTD, PO past Due, SMPOI and losses.

  • Responsible for all Supply Chain related tasks to support creation and submission of yearly Business Plan and quarterly financial forecast: this is including the analysis of current supply chain status, forecasting of future supply needs and aligning demand with financial absorption forecast, and aligning these with the strategic objectives of the organization.

  • Identify issues needing escalation to Network Supply Chain Leader, regional or global S&OP meetings.

  • Process Team: Work closely with each Process Team to ensure performance levels are monitored and analyzed. React and investigate relevant metrics/targets that align with the overall supply metrics for the Hub driving continues improvement and reliable supply.

  • Build strong relationships with ICOS, global supply chain and Supply Planning Hubs to enable effective supply and resolution of issues (close communication with EEM Ops Directors)

  • PCAP Owner for EEM International: Responsible for tracking the status of Product Change Alignment Process (PCAP) for EEM International, sharing progress updates, and facilitating the review process to ensure timely and efficient changes. Ensure alignment among all involved areas and proper implementation according to the approved strategy. Communication and liaison with Global Launch Leaders to monitor progress to launch dates and resolve issues.

  • Inventory Management: Accountable for the management of EEM materials inventory, both at Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and Logistics centers. Ensure KPIs are in place to monitor and maintain inventory to reasonable levels, comply with SOX controls, support inventory reconciliation/physical counts with appropriate use of stock checks, reconciliations or cycle counting processes. Ensure proper justifications and approvals to support inventory adjustments.

  • Warehousing and Logistics: Responsible for ensuring alignment of materials needs with CMs, coordinating delivery by Logistics Operators, and managing collection of finished goods. Accountable  for the EEM-International Freight and Warehouse budget and responsible for leading actions to reduce cost on an annual basis though partnership with ICOS and CMs.Also responsible supporting invoice entries, material consumption, and product transfers to affiliates.

  • Managing Supply process : Lead Managed Supply process for EEM tasks and ensure Supply Alerts updates with all EEM function.

Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years’ experience in Industry.

  • Knowledge of supply chain tools and business processes.

  • Experience with project management & planning.

  • Previous management and supervisory experience.

  • Demonstrated learning agility.

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Direct reports: 6-8

  • Travel: 15-20%.
