The Quality Team Lead ensures that the direction set forth by Quality management is followed through by the Quality Associates.   Essential Duties & Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Performs and documents employee training. Performs inspection activities, filling in on demand to cover absences. Coordinates employee schedules to ensure coverage. Completes Device History Record reviews for completion and accuracy. Coordinates control of nonconforming product activities. Assists in complaint investigations, corrective action process, and regulatory process. Responsible for assisting with the overall direction and coordination of the Quality Associates. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, regulations, and applicable laws. Delegates tasks to the team; assigning and directing work that needs completed. Resolving problems and coordination of department personnel schedules. Other duties as assigned QualificationsEducation and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 1-2 years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.    Other Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of inventory and manufacturing software, order processing systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
