Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Building Inspector for Site Supervision to join our team in Kuwait.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring construction projects comply with building codes, regulations, and safety standards while overseeing on-site activities.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with local and international building codes and regulations
  • Supervise construction activities and monitor work quality to maintain high standards
  • Review technical drawings, and specifications
  • Identify and report code violations, safety hazards, and structural deficiencies
  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve issues and ensure timely project completion
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all site visits and findings
  • Enforce safety regulations and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment on-site
  • Stay updated on changes in building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to improve construction processes and maintain quality standards
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Civil/Architectural Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in building inspection or a related field
  • Proven experience in site supervision and project management
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international building codes and standards
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices
  • Proficiency in inspection techniques and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in using inspection software and tools
  • Relevant certifications in building inspection (e.g., ICC certifications)
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to different construction sites within Kuwait City
