Job Description

As a Forex Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the Nostri positions of the Bank’s Treasury, overseeing FX-MM-Fid and CLS activities, and ensuring the smooth execution of operational processes within the Forex Operations team. This role is critical in supporting our treasury management and maintaining operational excellence.

Main responsibilities

  • Handle incoming communications, including emails, SWIFT messages, SIC, and related channels
  • Manage and level Nostri positions for effective cash management
  • Maintain Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI)
  • Oversee FX-MM-Fid and CLS processes (GTMatch, GTExchange)
  • Monitor and manage cash pending transactions
  • Administer Relationship Management Application (RMA)
  • Conduct controls and monitor queues for SWIFT messages, including handling SWIFT rejections (GTExchange)

Skills and experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in a back-office money function, preferably within banking or financial services
  • Solid knowledge of payment applications, such as SWIFT and SIC
  • Experience in funds transfer payments
  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multicultural environment
