IBDP Economics Teacher – Sarjapur, Bangalore
Location: Sarjapur, Bangalore (International/IB school)
Salary: ₹100,000–₹110,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality IBDP Economics lessons aligned with IB standards
- Guide students through Internal Assessments (IAs) & Extended Essays (EEs)
- Prepare students for IB exams, using a variety of assessment methods
- Foster inquiry-based discussions on economic theories and real-world issues
- Integrate educational technology and multimedia tools
- Differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs
- Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects and curriculum development
- Mentor students, engage with parents, and participate in PD and school events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 3 years teaching experience in IBDP Economics within an IB school
- Deep understanding of IB curriculum, assessment criteria, and DP philosophy
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
- Student‑centered, inquiry‑driven pedagogy
- Comfortable with technology‑enhanced teaching
