Job Description:

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Medical Assistant with Limited Scope X-ray program.  This is a part-time, professional position, reporting directly to the Program Director.  The primary responsibility will be to teach the X-ray coursework in the MA with Limited Scope X-Ray program.  Applicants will aslo be expected to provide academic advising to the students, assist the Program Director by participating in department trainings, meetings, and graduation.

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required
• Certifications:
  • ARRT Limited Scope X-ray - REQUIRED and
  • CCMA and/or
  • RMA and/or
  • CMA
• At least 3 years of experience as an RMA/CMA/CCMA with Limited Scope X-ray in a clinical setting
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience is highly desired but not required
