Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Medical Assistant program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach Medical Assistant courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; associate degree preferred
- Certification:
- CCMA and/or
- CMA and/or
- RMA
- At least three years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated and results driven
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
