Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Massage Therapy program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach Massage Therapy courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Massage Therapy program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or a Diploma
- Certifications:
- Licensed Massage Therapist in VA
- BCTMB is not required but highly desired
- At least three years of experience as a Massage Therapist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
