About the Team

We are the central digital team at Edelman, part of Integrated Solutions division that includes data, planning and creative. We deliver digital communications and creative technology campaigns and programs across all Edelman practices.

We take pride in delivering exceptional work for our clients but, at our core, we are a non-hierarchical team who like to spend time together in and out of the office. We are relentlessly collaborative and supported by leadership who champion and celebrate our collective achievements.

The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior resource to join the India Digital team. This role requires both client leadership skills and strategic thinking across digital programs and integrated campaigns. The successful candidate will ideally have experience across both consumer and B2B clients, having worked in an agency, or as an in-house digital specialist.

A holistic digital approach is important, with the ability to plan and manage activity across content, social and influencer. You will have a track record of leading digital strategy, as well as managing and nurturing clients, while working with other departments, including creative, content, planning and data.

There is a lot of opportunity for growth within the role for the right person. We are looking for someone with a real passion for using digital to amplify campaigns, who can partner with their clients, work on unlocking briefs and ultimately ensure that client expectations are not only met but exceeded.

This role will be a key hire in the central digital team, working supporting digital leadership, while also nurturing growing talent within our team.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage social, content and influencer activity and digital programs across key clients.

· Identify potential opportunities and areas of growth to broaden the team’s scope of work in digital within existing clients.

· Manage and develop client relationships, exhibiting best practice in client handling.

· Write digital proposals and plans for social, content and influencer activities – both stand alone campaigns and integrated creative campaigns; develop digital strategies, channel recommendations and content frameworks.

· Deliver digital and integrated projects from start to finish.

· Oversee quality and operational performance of the digital output, ensuring work quality and deadline adherence, providing coaching and development for broader team members.

· Nurturing and growing junior team members, through mentoring and upskilling

You will have:

· A background in digital within an agency.

· Experience across both B2C and B2B clients.

· Strong communications skills, verbal and written - able to develop high-quality strategy, write documents and proposals and manage junior team members.

· The ability and experience to provide senior clients with clear, confident, and well-informed strategic counsel and excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage expectations against budgets / results.

· Strong knowledge of the digital landscape including platforms and technology.

· A solid understanding of the principles of content marketing and the ability to convey them both internally and to clients.

· Experience working in collaboration with both earned and paid.

· A curiosity to keep up with the digital trends, emerging platforms and changing audience behaviors.
