A senior account executive must be obsessed with their client’s business - demonstrating a comprehensive level of understanding of their business, products, markets, personnel, stakeholders, etc. They will synthesis information and succinctly convey this knowledge to the media and client team members. S/he must be confident in communicating and is expected to be proactive in developing solutions as well as collaborating with other teams.

S/he must also have a solid grasp of all traditional public relations tools and be able to recommend a variety of strategies and tactics to his/her clients. S/he must be able to work effectively and provide sound counsel with lower levels of client contacts.

Responsibilities
• Account/Client Management: Demonstrate understanding of key client information, fostering good client communication with an outgoing and flexible approach
• Research: Conduct research into their client’s business, operating environment and synthesise information to develop recommendations.
• Content: Excels in copywriting such as crafting press releases, briefing books, internal newsletters, etc.
• Media Engagement: Manages daily media needs, e.g., pitch angle development, inbound media support, event RSVP, etc.; maintains day-to-day media relationships and oversees media interviews
• Planning: Assists with retainer and project planning
• Event: Coordinates client events, including logistics arrangement, onsite support, managing support teams etc.
• Financial Planning and Management: Demonstrate understanding of financial concepts at the project level, assist project managers on tracking and monitoring financials

Requirements
• Bachelor degree or above;

• Relevant 3-5 years in public relations, experience in managing and executing large communications projects and campaigns;

• Experience working with technology, digital, or innovation-led companies is an advantage, particularly where communications involves complex products, platforms, or emerging technologies.

• Ability to quickly understand and translate complex or technical subject matter into clear, compelling narratives for media and broader stakeholders.

• Tracks and interprets developments in technology, digital platforms, and innovation ecosystems relevant to client industries.

Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem solving skills;
• Good anti-pressure ability: accept reasonable OT;
• Demonstrate awareness of macro trends such as geopolitical, economics and technological developments;
• Team player and high English language skillset;
• Comfortable using digital productivity tools
