The Junior Resource Manager supports the effective allocation, utilization, and planning of resources across projects. This role works closely with project managers, team leads, and leadership to ensure the right people are assigned to the right work at the right time, while maintaining healthy utilization and delivery standards.
It’s a great role for someone analytical, organized, and comfortable working across teams in a fast-paced environment.
Support day-to-day resource planning and allocation across projects
Track resource utilization, availability, and capacity using internal tools and reports
Assist in resolving resourcing conflicts (over/under-utilization) in coordination with senior stakeholders
Maintain accurate and up-to-date resource schedules and trackers
Support project onboarding by ensuring resources are correctly assigned and briefed
Liaise with Project Managers to understand upcoming needs, timelines, and skill requirements
Assist in preparing weekly/monthly utilization and capacity reports
Flag risks related to resourcing gaps, burnout, or delivery impact
Support ad-hoc analysis related to staffing, forecasting, and workforce planning
Ensure resourcing processes and data are aligned with internal policies and systems
