We are in relentless pursuit of an equitable and inspiring workplace that is respectful of all, reflects and represents the world in which we live, and fosters trust, collaboration and belonging. Consistent with this approach, we hire the best qualified candidates for all positions.
Assembly Media, part of the Daniel J. Edelman (DJE) family of companies, is seeking an Associate Creative Director, copywriter to join our fast-growing team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the creative voice behind one of the world’s most iconic tech brands—Microsoft.
At Assembly, we bring Microsoft’s mission to life: to empower every person on the planet to achieve more. We don’t just communicate features—we uncover cultural tensions, translate product stories into human experiences, and build earned-first creative work that lives in social feeds and beyond. This is the right role for a creative storyteller with a sharp cultural radar and a deep love for digital and social. If you’ve ever thought “that TikTok trend could’ve been ours” or “this idea deserves more than a :15 ad,” we want to hear from you. In this role, you’ll create groundbreaking, social first campaigns on one of the world’s greatest tech brands.
Who You Are
A culturally fluent, digitally native writer with a point of view and a passion for smart, witty, surprising content.
A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and works quickly without compromising craft.
A storyteller who’s just as comfortable concepting a TikTok series as drafting an executive voiceover or naming a product feature.
A thoughtful, detail-oriented writer who can flex across tone, voice, and platform.
At Edelman and Assembly, we believe in the power of diverse perspectives and are committed to fostering a workplace where creativity, equity, and inclusion thrive. If this sounds like the kind of work—and the kind of team—you’ve been looking for, we’d love to connect.
