Position & Office Overview

As Facilities Office Manager, you are the type who is driven to succeed. You are a highly motivated star player who thrives on strategic thinking and putting ideas into motion. Every project shows both your technical expertise as well as your business savvy – and this is reflected in the strong growth of your office.  The junior and senior engineering staff look to you for mentoring both technically and in building client relationships. Your positive interactions with clients as well as business development skills contribute tremendously to the success of ECS. Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for the profit/loss of the office, including all service lines
  • Department Managers within the office will report directly to the Office Manager
  • Personnel recruitment
  • Management and training of employees
  • Financial management, marketing and business development
  • Managerial and administrative duties required for developing and growing an office
  • You will be expected to be a self-starter with strong marketing and business development skills, have a ‘roll up your sleeves' mentality to get things done, and be a team builder with the ability to both bring in and do the work
  • You will be tasked with getting the firm's name out in the marketplace

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field required; MS degree preferred

  • 10 – 15 years of consulting experience related to building envelopes, engineering design or inspection

  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE)

  • Experience in consulting and/or with a consulting firm is required
