Responsibilities
- Testing and consulting services for the built environment, property condition assessments, specialized testing, building enclosure consulting, forensic investigation analysis, and design of repairs to existing structures, among other facilities-related services
- Exhibiting responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation
- Performing field and laboratory testing
- Interacting with senior staff members on a variety of projects, as needed
- Promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; Associate or technology degree in Civil Engineering or architectural engineering preferred
2 years of related building enclosure field inspection experience preferred
Professional certifications (WACEL, ACI and/or AWCI) would go a long way
- This position requires carrying 40 – 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height
Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites – Mileage will be reimbursed
Typical office hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. This position may periodically require extended hours, including earlier start times and longer days during peak workload periods, which may occur for several consecutive days. You may be required to work more than 40 hours per week as business needs dictate. Overtime pay is provided for all eligible hours worked.
The expected pay range for this role and location is $20-$27/hour. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
