Job Description

EcoVadis is currently seeking an Engineering Leader to take ownership of a high-impact product domain. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to Product Leadership, co-owning the roadmap, delivery, and business success of the product.

You will lead a large, cross-functional team (approx. 20 diverse engineering talents), driving the engineering vision for a core customer experience. This position requires a leader who combines deep technical expertise in B2B SaaS with a strong product mindset.

Your duties will include:

  • Partner strategically with Product Leadership to define the product vision and roadmap, bridging the gap between engineering feasibility and business goals.

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a large cross-functional team (approx. 20 engineers and specialists), fostering a culture of craftsmanship and ownership.

  • Manage operational excellence at scale, driving velocity and minimizing friction for complex, high-impact initiatives.

  • Provide deep technical direction and challenge architectural decisions to ensure the team builds scalable, maintainable B2B SaaS solutions rather than just maintaining existing stacks.

  • Coordinate seamlessly across engineering, product, and design teams to align on priorities and delivery.

  • Oversee the quality and performance of the product domain, managing technical debt strategically alongside new feature development.

  • Maintain a clear overview of staffing capabilities and drive the growth of senior talent within the team

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in software engineering, with significant experience in leadership roles managing large or multiple teams (experience leading groups of 15+ is highly valued).

  • Deep technical expertise: Proven background in building complex B2B SaaS enterprise solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of modern web application development and cloud platforms (experience with .NET Core, React, and Azure is an advantage).

  • Product Mindset: Demonstrated success working in a dual-leadership setup (Product + Tech) and translating business requirements into technical strategy.

  • Proven track record of building solutions and delivering strategic success, not just maintaining legacy systems.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Polish (C1/C2), capable of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Self-driven and team player

  • Knowledge of how to work well in an international and multicultural environment in a fast-growing company

Additional Information

  • Offer only for candidates eligible to work and live in Poland
  • Location: Hybrid in Warsaw (4 days per month in the office) / Remote from Poland
  • Contract of Employment
  • The salary range will be shared following the technical assessment stage of this recruitment process

In return for your expertise, we offer:

  • Support with all the necessary office and IT equipment
  • Flexible working hours
  • Wellness allowance for mental and physical wellbeing
  • Access to professional mental health support
  • Referral bonus policy
  • Learning and development

  • Optional (fully covered or co-financed) health care and life insurance
  • Multisport card
  • Multikafeteria
  • Lunch card
  • Hybrid work organization
  • Remote work from abroad policy
  • Internet and Electricity bill allowance
